How It Works

From raw pool data to
ranked opportunity in seconds

YieldLens runs a continuous six-stage pipeline that converts fragmented on-chain data into scored, wallet-matched, risk-filtered recommendations you can act on.

The six-stage YieldLens pipeline

01
Data foundation

Ingest

Pool-level data from 47+ protocols across 12 chains is pulled, normalized, and deduplicated into a consistent internal schema. Every field — APY, TVL, token composition, lockup terms, fee structure — is standardized so scoring can compare apples to apples.

What gets ingested
  • Spot and time-weighted APY (7d, 30d)
  • TVL snapshots with 7-day delta
  • Token composition and underlying asset breakdown
  • Protocol audit records and security disclosures
  • Lockup terms and withdrawal conditions
  • On-chain contract addresses for sanctions screening
02
Quality signal

Score

Every pool receives a Lens Score — a normalized 0–100 quality/risk metric computed after each ingest cycle. Scoring weights penalize inflated incentive APYs, flag unaudited protocols, and discount pools with recent TVL outflows.

Scoring inputs
  • TVL stability (7d trend, drawdown depth)
  • Audit coverage and audit age
  • Organic vs. incentive APY ratio
  • Liquidity depth relative to recommended position size
  • Sanctions exposure (contract and counterparty)
  • Protocol age and exploit history
03
Personalization

Match

Your wallet address or manually entered tokens are mapped against the scored pool universe. Only pools compatible with your actual holdings are surfaced — no noise from pools that don't accept what you hold. Wallet lookups are read-only and no private key is ever requested.

Two ways to match
  • Wallet address — submit an EVM address; YieldLens reads on-chain balances and maps holdings to compatible pools automatically
  • Token list — enter tokens manually (USDC, ETH, WBTC…) for fast, wallet-private discovery
04
Your preferences

Filter

Constrain the matched pool set to exactly the slice you want. Set a minimum Lens Score, choose a risk profile (Conservative / Balanced / Aggressive), exclude lockups, filter to stablecoins only, or cap results to a specific chain.

Available filters
  • Minimum Lens Score (0–100)
  • Risk profile: Conservative · Balanced · Aggressive
  • Stablecoins only toggle
  • Audited protocols only toggle
  • No lockup requirement toggle
  • Chain filter (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, etc.)
  • Result count (up to 20)
05
Ongoing intelligence

Monitor

Set threshold alerts on APY drops or Lens Score changes. When a pool you care about crosses a line, YieldLens fires a signed webhook event to any endpoint you configure — your Slack, PagerDuty, or custom handler.

What you can alert on
  • APY falls below a threshold
  • Lens Score drops by X points
  • TVL drawdown exceeds a percentage
  • New pool matches your criteria
  • Protocol security event detected
06
Production readiness

Operate

Health and pipeline endpoints expose ingest freshness, scoring status, and API readiness so your team can validate that the data powering any integration is current before acting on it.

Operational endpoints
  • GET /health — service readiness check
  • GET /v1/pipeline — last ingest timestamp and scoring freshness
  • GET /v1/smoke — end-to-end API smoke test

A read layer — never execution

YieldLens surfaces opportunities and provides the intelligence to evaluate them. The decision to allocate, and any on-chain action, stays entirely with you.

What YieldLens never does

  • Does not request or store private keys or seed phrases
  • Does not submit transactions on your behalf
  • Does not custody, hold, or move assets at any point
  • Does not require wallet connection — address submission is optional and read-only
